I just finished the heap of holiday homework I kept putting it off until the final week and had slightly misjudged how much time but I managed to sift through bundles of biology homework padding out the answers. The only bright thing I can go round with bragging rights since SA won rubbing it in all my friends.

Not much to look forward to at all now..... I went shopping for stationary the other day to cheer my self up on the belief if I buy nice pens and gadgets the school day will go quicker. I came across a pen that when you make a mistake the other end lets you rub out the pen! Which was very cool and also found a cute little pencil case. I was deceived into the cuteness of it because I went home and realised it was too small for me to be put even half of the stuff I need.

Apparently we have assembly first thing in the morning what better way to spend a hot day then sitting indoors in blazers that suffocate you....

In other news I bought a new laptop today.. It lets me do stuff really fast now, and doesn't take me long to start up or load pages!! And it's a shiny green!

And now just got a reminder on my phone telling me New Zealand are playing Australia in 15 minuted from now but as well tune into that.

In which we win again. I'm really enjoying watching the cricket these past few months. So many highlights today! Where to start!

Herschelle! Herschelle! Being a good boy has been a bit hard for him so will excuse him for getting out to the same shot he had played earlier that he had survivied from.

The commentators going on about how Bouch had gone hope and then acting greatly suprised when he was seen in the dressingroom did they not see him at all?!

Albie getting injured! =( That wasn't a highlight but then all the South Africans standing around him when he clearly was in pain but doing nothing was. And then seeing Ab run over looking very concerned and literally had to be pulled away by the umpire to get on with the game.

Johan's very clever four the one he switch hit! Very cool piece of batting!

JP surprising the commentators yet again when he hit a six. They still have not learnt!

The crowd making a very very long beer snake thing. That tells us two things. Australia were playing badly enough for most of the crowd to not watch and there were alot of drunk people walkng around.

South Africans celerating!!! Enough said!! When there's champagne in sight they start acting like children! =) And the same cricketers always end up with the champagne too!

The many run out chances SA had at the end to steal the game! Seriously!!

Lopsy bowling really really really really good! 4 wickets on debut I don't think anyone would have expected that much of him. And I think he loed getting the wicket of Johnson. Smart thinking by whoever say what happened!

More to come later.

A bit late but I celebrating too much to sit still and write something substantial!
So many highlights in this match - I also found out that I love watching AB wicketkeep he's an excellent reserve for Bouch. He needs to learn more about the chirping behind the stumps though. Poor thing screamed out to Neil McKenzie "Catch Hash! Er... Mac!"
But he's suited signalling in the field. At one stage he did the roll of the hands to bring Dale closer and he also put his arm around Johan!! And Hersch got upset because he patted Johan on the back after a good over but forgot to give Hersch a pat!

Morne has worked a lot of his catching. The one he caught to get Marsh out was special! And of course in the usual Morne style he managed to tumble over!

When SA were chasing Bouch sat in the middle of Albie and Morne with one arm around each of them. Either that was a comfortable position or he was stopping any silbling rivalry!

Mickey gave an interview in the half way point of the game and stated that the dressingroom after the Sydney ODI was like a hospital ward. My one question is. Who's the nurse?

Hersch did some special batting too! It looked like he wanted to hit every ball for six! I love it when he plays like that. You could see that Hashim was trying to rein him in. It's obvious no one is able to reign in Hersch when he bats like that. Well maybe Graeme and his special powers would.

Albie did a special bit of fielding on the boundary rope to save a four of Morne's bowling this led to the commentators debating whether Albie fielded extra hard because it was his brother bowling. The fielding was awesome but I suspect he wanted to be have that over Morne.. So by chance if there was only one beer left in the fridge and they both wanted it Albie could tell Morne one of the two things .
1. I'm older so I get it. [This always seems to work].
or
2. I saved that ball from reaching the boundary - pay up.

We Won!!
I must admit there were a few tense moments were I lost a tiny bit of hope, but then ofcourse Mr Albie 'Powerplay' Morkel as the commentators have now started calling him came in and blew the attack to shreds! And that is not an understatement! I suspect there will be a very proud younger brother in the SA team!

And Boucher what more can I say.... Getting whacked on the thumb while wicketkeeping and then getting hit on the toe batting! He's a fighter! And didn't call for the physio once!

Oh Hersch, I love it when he bats like that. Make's me feel all tingly inside - and his when he got to 50 his celebrations was very Hersch like. OTT yet so cool.

Kallis deserves a mention too - 10 000 ODI runs now, and also managing to be not at all fazed about the massive sweat patches he was getting. Seriousy the new ODI kit is not at all flattering when it's hot! Someone should have told him!

The commentators didn't have to many slip ups either, which was amazing considering the way they have been throughout the series! Ntini was using Tsotsobe's shirt for some reason and they stil realised it was Ntini. Given they have been confusing players from Day 1 I think thats an improvement. Although Lawry spent half the match saying AB Morkel?!

EDIT:
Dale looked differrent today? If someone can tell me why I feel that way it would be awesome!

Johan Johan Johan! I miss Graeme but he's doing an excellent job! Wickets/Catches/Runs!

JP bowling! He bowled his full 10 overs tooo! Becoming a fine allrounder!

If you've missed out on seeing some of the matches never fear. Not as gory as I thought it would be but I have to say Johnny Depp is a better singer then I thought possible. The only con to the movie is the songs stick in your head and consequently your left singing the song while others stare at you wondering if you've escaped from a mental asylum.

On a different note I just realised I've fallen in love with Dale's sunnies. <lj:music>ABC cricket commentary</lj:music>

A half day of watching biased commentary has prompted me to mute the tv and turn the radio on to hear atleast neutral commentating. Horrible. And Graeme has broken his little finger on his left hand. Can it get worse?
Oh and also something totally irrelevant-

AB bats with a little hand towel, so he has something to wipe his face with when he gets to sweaty. Interesting.

Twas watching the news today and they showed footage of Graeme wearing a pink bandana underneath his hat! Which again confirms the fact that he looks manly when he wears something pink. This prompted me to launch a search on the internet to find photo's, sadly none have arisen. Am also more cheerier then yesterday when I read a commen from lemonbella who said Graeme shold be fed grapes while at home resting... He should also have people waiting on him giving him his every whim.

I see Ab has an obsession with kissing his team mates and in no way to I condone this. In fact I say bring it on! I hope to see more of this throughout the summer!
<lj:music>Lie to me - Neyo</lj:music>
First up,Yes I lied! Sadly I said I would post in here more often but according to my LJ homepage it had been 19 WEEKS! In that time so much has happened, including the greatness of the Saffers! I am proud to say all my Aussie friends [I live in Australia by the way] are very embarrassed by the Australian performance to so far.
And my typing skills are below par as I have sustained an injury! Does a mosquito bite on my arm count as an injury? I think it does.

I was lucky enough to be at the MCG when SA won the series, but not lucky enough to be in the section of the crowd where Morne, Dale and a few of the others went up too. Damn you Cricketing Gods! But Dale totally deserved the MOTM award, partly because of his cricketing contributions but mostly because, the man can say almost anything and it sounds so cute! Oh and also because his sun hat, the white one, is all floppy and crinkled clearly he takes care of it. Though I am led to believe it could have been sat on by Jacques Kallis.... And I can't blame Dale for that.
